About Me
Business owner. I started racing in 1999 after a team that I provided graphics for built a new car and had one sitting. Mike Reynolds crew cheif for the team offered to let me finish the season in it racing in the newly formed "Hornet" division. Now mostly refered to as Sport Compacts or Factory Fours.

It took me 3 years to win a main event but the following season (2003) I won two championships. Dual Champion for the combined points between Orange Show Speedway and Perris Auto Speedway in the Sport Compact division followed up by back to back championship at the Perris Auto Speeway.

I work as an infeild pit reporter for Perris Auto Speedway. I am honored to be a part of the Perris Auto Speedway family and to work with Legendary personalities as Chris Holt (pit reporter) and Scott Dalosio (track announcer). I owe my nickname "The Racing Grandma" to Scott. Scott added "Red Hot" to my name after I caught fire while racing. I am now known as the "Red Hot" Racing Grandma. Gotta Love it!

I currently race and compete against my husband Jake #12 and also my son Dalton #72 in the Street Stock division. Jake is the biggest supporter of our racing. Though I am much more aggressive, Jake, as in life, is very patient and moves through the pack very well. Our son Dalton was high points rookie in his first year and is an "On The Throttle" driver who can pull off a slide job as well as the veterans.

Racing has changed my life and I am totaly dedicated to promoting the sport in the most positive way that I can.
Best Moment in Racing
Of course my championship years.
Interviewing my son on his first podium finish.
Competing in the Women's Championship race @ Toyota Speedway at Irwindale. (Only all women's race I have ever competed in)
Scariest Moment In Racing
Having my throttle stick down the front straight and hitting turn 1 crash wall resulting in a trip to the emergency room while fighting with the paramedic about wanting to cut my suit off. Refered to as my "Prom Dress". Lucky for me my injuries were only a broken spacula (shoulder blade) which took me out of the race car for a short time.
Most Embarrasing Moment In Racing
Having a melt down because when I hit the throttle my RPM's wouldn't come up and having my crew cheif tell me the gas pedal was on the right...I knew that!
